Bluevelvetcat Records was founded in 2001 by Belinda Robles Montoya as a small independent record company. On its way to its first distributed release, it is now growing as an up and coming house music production team from San Francisco. With her music partner DJ Jorge Terez, Bluevelvetcat has already had a chance to work with some of house music's top producers and studios: Sandy Rivera (Kings of Tomorrow), Grammy Nominated Jay-J Hernandez and the Moulton Studios Crew, and Chuck Diesel from Amenti Music.
Bluevelvetcat releases range from soulful house, Latin house, to hard trance cuts. Whenever possible, live musicians are incorporated to each production to give a warmer and live feeling. Each cut is hard hitting for the dance floor, as well as innovative with its unique musicality.
